What is HoopStick Beta?
Our initial launch was scheduled for early August but was postponed while we tweaked the site. In the process of putting on the final touches, the beta site was discovered by a group of life casters in the Justin TV community (you know who you are.) As people joined the forums, word about Hoopstick spread quickly. Some people went so far as to create accounts and attempt to buy our sample product. When we realized the community was excited, rather than wait any longer, we decided to dedicate 3 days a week to running our site and the other 4 days to testing, shipping and improving it.
So, here it is HoopStick beta - browse, buy and enjoy!

What is the purpose of dynamic pricing on HoopStick?
Our goal with dynamic pricing is to sell out of each Stick of the Day. The fluctuation in pricing is not random at all, in fact, there are many factors that influence both an upward trend and a downward trend. We're letting you, our community, decide what the product is worth.
After clicking STICK IT!, why was the price I stuck slightly different?
The price on the Stick of the Day page updates every 15 seconds on our servers. Yes, it also updates every 15 seconds in your browser. However it is updating on your end every 15 seconds from the time you arrived at the Stick of the Day page so there may be an ever so slight variation. Keep in mind that the variation is minor and you could stick a lower price just as easily as higher price. That is why after sticking an item on the main page you'll see a 45 second timer allowing you to STICK IT! Or KICK IT . From this page you have 45 seconds to decide if you want to go forward and buy the item or go back to the main page and take your chances on getting a better price. The price you see above the timer is locked in for you and will not change unless you KICK IT, wait more than 45 seconds to make a decision or take more than 5 minutes to checkout. Any of these scenarios would redirect you back to the main page.

If you STICK IT! you'll go to the order process page where you can choose the number of items you want and complete the order. You have 5 minutes to complete your order.

Can I find out what a previous Stick of the Day's selling prices were?
Not at this time.
How do I know how many you have left for the current Stick Of The Day?
You don't. It's our little secret.
How do I become a HoopStickian? (create an account)
1) From the main page click Register now!
2) Fill out each of the fields in the Create Account box
3) Click the checkbox, agreeing to the Terms of Conditions and Privacy Policy
4) Click the Create Account button
5) Congratulations and welcome to HoopStick!
What payment options does HoopStick accept?
You can pay for your items with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express
Scammers beware, we DO NOT accept Money Orders, IOUs, Foreign Currency, Checks, Competitors Coupons, Promissory Notes or your Uncle Bob's watch.
Sales Cycles
How many items do you sell?
HoopStick sells one item a day (Stick of the Day). The Stick of the Day will be available until it is "sold out" or replaced by the next item at 08:00 a.m. on the following day. If an item is "sold out" the STICK IT! button will say "sold out."
When are new items available?
Every morning at 08:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time we'll post a new Stick of the Day.
Can I buy an item that was previously sold but is no longer on the home page?
Negative...if you were hemming & hawing over an item because you thought for sure the price would be lower later, but that wasn't the case, or you're just a tire kicker and missed out, then you're SOL my little friend.
I had a better price locked in earlier, can I go back and buy it at that price?
You missed the point! You have 5 minutes and 45 seconds to purchase the item(s). Once you "stick" an item off the home page, you have 45 seconds to decide if you're going to STICK IT!, go through with it, or if you think you can get a better price by waiting, KICK IT and hope for the best. If you STICK IT!, you have 5 minutes to get through the checkout. Don't dawdle.
Will an item be sold more than once?
Possibly... on occasion we may not sell out of an item or we may get a repeat shipment of an item and re-list it.
How many of a single item can I buy?
The quantity of any single item sold per transaction will vary by item, usually between 1 and 5, sometimes more. HoopStick staff reserves the right to set quantity limits.
Can I buy the same item more than once during the same day?
Regardless of the quantity you can only process one order per day.
Does HoopStick offer volume discounts?
No. You can only buy whatever the set quantity is for that particular item per transaction.
Ordering
What shipping options does HoopStick offer?
At the present time most items are going FedEx Ground or USPS, but that is subject to change, and yes, you will receive a shipping confirmation email including tracking details (if tracking details are available) once your order has shipped.
How soon will my order ship?
Everything we sell is in stock and should ship within three to five business days of your order.
Where will HoopStick ship to?
We are currently shipping to the 48 contiguous states commonly known as the Continental United States which does not include Alaska and Hawaii (sorry guys), only to valid street addresses and no PO Boxes.
Why did I receive something extra with my order, can I keep it?
Sure, chances are it's a useless trinket but think of it as our gift to you.
My friend received something extra with his/her order but I didn't, why?
Your friend got lucky.
Contact HoopStick
Is there a customer service number I can call?
Not exactly... In the very unlikely event you receive an item that is damaged we will replace the item if we can or issue a refund. The RMA request must be handled through our contact form and must be within 14 days from the ship date. Please be sure to include your HoopStick order number. Your RMA request will be evaluated within 48 hours. If an RMA is issued you will be responsible for shipping the item back to HoopStick at your expense. The product must be fully intact, unopened and in the same condition as it was when it went through the HoopShip process.
If you received an item you don't like or simply changed your mind after purchasing then try to resell it somewhere or give it to a friend. If you think there is a problem with the item (after triple checking for operator error) please contact the manufacturer or whomever is representing the manufacturer.
